Financial advisors, how do you discuss real estate with your clients? Share your thoughts with The Globe

by Globe Staff

Financial advisors are offering their clients the opportunity to invest in real estate investment trusts as interest rates fall.

Real estate is an important part of any Canadian’s investment portfolio, and with falling interest rates, many investors are looking for opportunities to enter the sector. But real estate investment doesn’t just include homes — financial advisors are offering their clients the opportunity to invest in real estate investment trusts in sectors such as multi-family, office and industrial, as well as alternative assets, which include private real estate.

The Globe and Mail wants to hear from financial advisors about how they are using real estate in client portfolios, and their outlook on the industry as a whole as rates continue to drop.
