Toronto home sales climb for third straight month as buyers gain leverage over sellers
Toronto home sales rose 8.1 per cent in June, the third straight month of higher activity, as buyers took advantage of lower prices and the abundance of properties on the market.
There were 5,068 sales last month after removing seasonal influences, according to the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board, or TRREB. That followed a similar increase in May and a 2.4-per-cent rise in April.
