Coaching company MindShare101 taps Bill Madder for strategic advisory role

Longtime Canadian real estate industry leader Bill Madder has joined MindShare101 Inc. as senior strategic advisor following a career spanning nearly five decades.

MindShare101, founded by speaker, coach and entrepreneur David Greenspan, is a Canadian training and professional development company offering coaching, keynote speaking, leadership development and consulting.

 According to a Sept. 1 press release, Madder will help advise the company as it looks to expand its business and programs.

Madder brings decades of industry experience

Madder spent more than 30 years in real estate association leadership, most recently serving six years as CEO of the London and St. Thomas Association of Realtors (LSTAR), a role he retired from in May.

Before that, he spent 19 years leading the Association of Saskatchewan Realtors.

His career has also included work as a real estate agent, broker and sales manager.  In 2016, he received the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA)’s Association Executives Network Award of Excellence.

“I’ve known Bill for a long time, and he’s someone I’ve trusted, respected and learned from throughout my career,” Greenspan said.

“We’re at a point with MindShare101 where the opportunity in front of us is bigger than what I can chase on my own. Bill knows this industry, he knows the people, and more importantly, he understands what we’re trying to build.”

New role focused on growth

Madder joins the company as MindShare101 continues to expand its offerings across Canada, the United States and internationally, says the company. 

In his new role, Madder will work with Greenspan and the MindShare101 team on the company’s growth strategy, positioning and future opportunities, according to the release. He will also help develop partnerships and other business opportunities through his industry relationships.

“When I retired, I knew I still wanted to stay connected to an industry that has been such an important part of my life, but I also wanted to be selective about where I spent my time,” Madder said.

“I’ve known David for many years and have watched what he has built with MindShare101. I believe there’s a significant opportunity ahead, and I’m excited to contribute my experience, relationships and perspective to help take it to the next level.”
