Every day, you help your clients find a place to call home.

But across Ontario, too many people are struggling to find a safe place to sleep or put their next meal on the table. Shelter and food insecurity affect families, seniors and working Ontarians. They affect the people we know, the communities we serve and, sometimes, people much closer to home than we realize.

That is why the Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation Motorcycle Ride for Charity matters more than ever.

More than 850 kilometres for a cause

Now in its 19th year, the Ride brings REALTORS® together Sept. 23-24 for more than 850 kilometres through Eastern Ontario, raising funds for shelter-related causes and food insecurity across the province. But the Ride is about more than the kilometres travelled or dollars raised. It is an opportunity to put our profession’s spirit of community into action.

Building connections with industry peers

There is another reason to get on the road: the people you will meet along the way.

Real estate is, at its heart, a relationship business. We spend countless hours building connections with clients, colleagues and industry partners. The Ride creates an opportunity to build genuine relationships with REALTORS® from across the province, united by a shared passion for our profession and a desire to give back.

For two days, REALTORS® from different communities come together with a common purpose. You might start the morning riding alongside someone from Aurora and finish the day sharing stories with a REALTOR® from Peterborough, St. Catharines or Ottawa. Whether it is over a coffee, around a dinner table or during a roadside stop, the Ride creates space for the kind of conversations and connections that can grow into lasting relationships.

Those connections matter.

Ontario’s real estate community is large, diverse and incredibly connected. Getting to know REALTORS® outside of your immediate market can open the door to new perspectives, shared experiences and relationships that extend well beyond a single transaction.

And when those relationships are built around a cause we all care about, they become even more meaningful.

Turning generosity into community support

The Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation is the charitable Foundation of Ontario REALTORS®, helping turn our collective generosity into meaningful support for communities across the province. In 2025 alone, the Foundation raised $2.6 million and supported more than 200 organizations addressing shelter and food insecurity.

But the need continues.

This year, we are asking REALTORS® to make the Ride part of their REALTOR® experience.

Come for the ride. Connect with your REALTOR® community. Ride for a cause that affects us all.

You do not have to be a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast to take part. Register as a rider, support a colleague with a donation, come out along the route to cheer on the riders or help spread the word.
